Thermo Fisher now has a page up in response to our observations. They flatly deny that images were manipulated or fabricated while repeating that images were "optimized for presentation and clarity on the website", no lie, six times.

Finally got the dog off my lap and processed a batch of six accepted manuscripts for a journal client. THREE OF SIX had image duplications where the same image or part of an image appeared in two figures with different labels. #ImageIntegrity. All are likely file handling mistakes.
