Digital X-rays and imaging, especially the 3D dental imaging. So much less radiation and incredible visuals.

One of my key predictions for the next ten years is that imaging each other's assets in orbit will become an increasingly prevalent game of one-upmanship. There's a lot of stuff going on in space, and we are now really flexing the muscles of space to space imaging.
Behold: The US Defense Intelligence Agency has released a report on challenges to security in space, including an NEI image of China’s spaceplane from Maxar, taken in 2024.

Some close up renders of the ~1995(?) Amblin Imaging CGI model of Voyager. Without colors or texture. These renders where made around 2012. Some normal/smoothing interpretation is lost because of import into different software.

A repostment from tisqor's canvas thingy.

I find this sort of pov shot really hot and underrated. Shows you just enough to get you vividly imaging the scene

In @natmethods.nature.com: Researchers in Rockefeller's Vaziri lab have redesigned an entire imaging system from the ground up to develop a new microscopy platform that enables imaging of neuronal activity at single-cell resolution at unprecedented tissue depth.

The missing piece is knowing when they did imaging (MRI), got results & discussed. I'm assuming (because benefit of doubt before finding out more tomorrow) that he was probably playing through some discomfort but managing before they actually had imaging done, and that's when the decision was made.
According to your reporting, he hurt it in game 1 and the team had "a conversation about how to best address the issue." And then they played him in the next 3 games (including a b2b where he played 41 minutes). That doesn't sound like the best way to address the issue.

Not great when one of the single largest 'Capital Clearinghouses' all but says outloud:

"The only way out of what is coming is a Buyer Of Last Resort... and we can't even imaging what one would look like..."
CITADEL: “.. at some point the challenge could be less about finding an investment-grade backstop, and more about finding the actual buyers willing to absorb more of the risk ..”

🇳🇴🇺🇦 A Norwegian MP illegally smuggled drones with thermal imaging cameras into Ukraine — and the government lifted the ban.

MP appealed to the government, emphasizing that delay could cost the lives of Ukrainian soldiers, but was refused, so the drones were secretly exported, bypassing the rules.

He refused to let bureaucracy cost Ukrainian lives.

Norwegian MP Peter Frølich helped get thermal-imaging drones to Ukraine despite old export restrictions. The rules were later changed.

Thank you, Peter. Ukraine remembers friends who act when it matters.
