FOX NEWS: If you lose the House, whose fault is that?

MIKE JOHNSON: If we lose the House, it will be because the people were misled

FOX NEWS: It doesn't fall on your shoulders?

MIKE JOHNSON: I don't know how it could. I mean, I'm traveling nonstop

You would think it was as fundamental and as old as papal infallibility (yes I know) or something the way people talk about it

This is like a spoof of a bad 1970s sci-fi film. The self-anointed master race are so convinced of their infallibility that they destroy themselves by believing their own hype & embracing life-threatening behaviour. The Boys from Palantir.

“I can’t believe the owners believe in a guy who has the divine grace of infallibility”
“Sir this is an Italian restaurant”

I think it does more than you think. The one thing they want more than anything in the world is universal acceptance of the infallibility of their machine god

Speaking of the Bible, “Vance” was an evangelical then an atheist then a Catholic of sorts, the kind that doesn’t actually go to Mass, take communion, or believe in the infallibility of the pope. So his Biblical opinion isn’t worth spit.

Yeah, but to give an analogy that same goes for religious freedom, democracy and the question of papal infallibility. We only understand the truth further and further through time

George Orwell wrote to Aldous Huxley and said that Huxley’s vision of the future was more likely than his own.

So much for Orwell’s vaunted infallibility…

DYK the father of the “pro-life" movement, Pope #Pius IX (d.1878), had a personal executioner?!? He denied modern science, restored medieval age of miracles, invented papal infallibility, & set in stone the doctrine that ALL abortion was murder! HowSexGotScrewedUp.com

I think you have it backwards. I think Trump truly believes most of the crap he says b/c he lives in an information bubble and has convinced himself of his own infallibility.
Vance knows he's lying. You can tell he knows most of the time b/c he's a terrible liar with no poker face

…a golden age that can only be attained/restored by purging society of ‘decadence’, fervent public rituals of allegiance, infallibility of the state, demonization of out-groups, and messianic and apocalyptic thinking.

He relies heavily on Popper, who is two generations out of date. On top of that, it's a very naive reading of Popper, as one who believed in the infallibility of observation statements, which he did not.

Naive scientific methodology isn't a good basis for critical thinking or science.

You and your ilk are so fucking delusional. I don’t know who brainwashed you into believing your dogma but they sure did a good job in crushing your ability to critically think. From your close minded judgement of others to your belief of your infallibility I would guess evangelical Christianity.
