Initial radiocarbon dating places the construction between 200 and 10 B.C., directly aligning with the Gallic period. Notably, the rampart shows heavy scorch marks, accompanied by burnt wood and carbonized seeds, and a Gallic spearhead was recovered directly at the base of the wall.

Archaeologists have uncovered a significant discovery beneath the Hôtel-Dieu on the Île de la Cité, potentially providing the first material evidence of Lutetia, the Celtic settlement mentioned in Julius Caesar's account of the Gallic Wars in 52 B.C.

Un atelier de tuilier antique à Aleria (Haute-Corse)

Une fouille de l'Inrap a révélé la présence d'un atelier de tuilier du Ier siècle après J.-C. qui succède à une occupation du premier âge du Fer.

Après une période d'activité dense, l'archéologie préventive semble s'attendre à la tempête (moyens inrap, délais de diags, Nb de prescriptions en baisse, etc.).
Devinez qui va payer le prix fort ? Pas les opérateurs, publics ou privé, pas les archeo en postes/CDI.
