I work in the second most male-dominated specialty in the UK (2nd only to neurosurgery). 813 interventional cardiologists in UK, 6.6% women. But! The British Cardiac Intervention Society ensured every main panel had at least one woman this conference, and 21% of interventional residents are women

Caitlin update. She spent last night and this morning throwing up and desating. New PICU doctors seem fine. Her G-J Tube is clogged, so no meds or food until that gets fixed. @lynnemthomas & I are finalists for a couple of Hugo Awards. I am trying to promo Uncanny between stuff.

he had a few useful referrals and one referral to a rehab/interventional pain management doctor who's allegedly experienced with EDS for evaluation for injections etc (and ruefully acknowledged my problem with lidocaine and DIDN'T ARGUE), he agrees my symptoms are Very Weird--

When it gets to a point that intergenerational BIPOC families have been made to intimately know interventional safety nets, band aid solutions like food pantries and become reliant on them, that points to class war.
