There are options where you really can’t fuck it up, at least not like this. There are intramuscular drugs you can give that act as paralytics, ketamine works IM, etc.

I’ve never understood why officials continue to botch human executions in these horrific ways. When my horse had to be put down, the vet gave him 2 intramuscular shots & within 10 seconds he went down. The death penalty is horrible enough without the terrible cruelty of the actual process.

It is scary! Been helping my gf with her intramuscular injections and at every time I'm scared of hurting her and can tell how she's squeezing my hand during it.
But as long as proper hygiene is kept and one is careful it seems like a relatively safe thing to do.
And easier on the body too!
