So far for ADHD I've tried Medikinet 50mg, Concerta 54mg, and Elvanse 70mg with no effect. Now the doctor is considering non-stimulants like Strattera or Intuniv, will know in two weeks. The journey continues...

So Aussies... yesterday I found BIG news for those on ADHD meds. My daughter is on Intuniv. She WAS paying over $129 per month for it. But now price has dropped to $60... but pharmacies are STILL charging same big prices. So she went back to hers.. told them knew price had dropped. Got it for $60.

Mount Mail Shame is such a horrible and reoccurring event! Any tips for someone who's genetic testing shows conflicts for strattera, intuniv and qelbree, but terrible side effects from Adderall and ritalin?

So it turns out I should NOT be on stimulants for my ADHD and they were kind of driving me crazy the past few months. Less than a week off of them and I am feeling calmer and happier than I have I a long time. Gonna try out a non-stimulant option next week, Intuniv.
Do you ever feel like all day long you are communicating your needs in very clear basic English and somehow people are just not hearing you? It’s hard not to feel like it’s because they don’t care when it consistently happens over and over again. (1/4)

Nach 2 Wochen 1 mg Intuniv täglich können wir sagen, sie helfen bei der #adhs von K2.
Seine Meltdowns sind deutlich seltener und dann auch kürzer.
Wir haben das extra über die Ferien getestet, auch um zu schauen was für Nebenwirkungen es hat. Da es früher zur Blutdrucksenkung eingesetzt

Seine Meltdowns sind deutlich seltener und dann auch kürzer.

I am so unstressed and able to go with the flow now on Intuniv that I honestly don’t know how I survived the year I spent trying to treat my ADHD with Adderall. I can think linearly, my nervous system doesn’t feel like it’s on fire and I don’t want to lie down and die all the time. 11/10 ⭐️

So after about 2 weeks on 6mg of intuniv for my ADHD the lifelong sensory overwhelm episodes seem to have stopped? I was having 90 minute episodes where lights were too bright, sounds were too loud, textures were horrible and irritating and just being in my body was terrible 2x a week at least.(1/2)

Your mileage may vary. But if you are AuDHD like I am and you want something less stimulating and weight neutral that won’t kill your appetite Intuniv is worth looking into. It’s even helped lower my insulin resistance significantly with each dose increase due to being less stressed out. (3/3)
