Nearly 300 delegates representing IPCC member governments & observer organisations from around the world have gathered at UNESCAP this week to advance IPCC’s work in the seventh assessment cycle.

The 64th session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is beginning now in Bangkok. During this meeting the Panel will concentrate on foundational work including reviewing the IPCC's Principles and Procedures and hearing progress reports from the Working Groups. #IPCC64 #climatechange

With an intense schedule of report reviews and approval sessions scheduled for 2027, the #IPCC is trying to best use its two meetings this year to advance other essential work—including its mandated review of its principles and procedures
