Just got a new data point and $2,000/kW was last year. 20027-2029 delivery is $2,400/kW. That doesn’t include the cost of upgrading pipeline infrastructure. All of this will be contracted at $95/MWh, merchant IPPs won’t touch gas at these prices

Another post on shortages in public schools in Alberta. In two weeks it is parent-teacher time. There is a shortage of times such that those of us with kids with IPPs get to sign up two days BEFORE parents of kids without IPPs. This is in Canada's richest province that has starved public education.

God I love the full-time part-time Army. Two billion spent on IPPS-A and it’s absolutely no match for “we haven’t paid you guys for months because we didn’t plan for this GS - also a reservist in the same command - deploying” or “nobody actioned that for two weeks because SFC Bigback was on leave.”

As a retired member of the deep state and Ford School graduate (1975 when it was IPPS), I find this scary and tragic. Our fathers and grandfathers fought fascism in WWII, their children and grandchildren just voted it into office.
