some personal news: last week was my last day at Firaxis! I’m gutted to leave before Arc / Earthrise but there was an adventure I couldn’t refuse. More on that later—but for now I’ll miss everyone & getting to flex my research skills. Designing Civ’s narrative system has been such an honor.

as soon as @rowan.monster pointed this out to me I couldn't unsee it. Even if it's only a handful of the staff who directly worked across both games, it really feels like there's Civ VI DNA in Zero Company's art and animation, and that's extremely complimentary
