It's been a wonderful, hectic, joyous Christmas with the family, and although it's been quite hard work, I keep thinking that I should treasure it because (with a bit of luck), next Christmas will be in Antarctica...

Anna investigated how well snow models can reproduce snowpit observations in Antarctica. Snowpits are very detailed observations of the snowpack, so this study really put the models to the test to see where models perform well and where we need more development❄️
