There are some tasks with an irreducible level of annoyance. It's inherent in the human condition!

motion to refer to all actual programming activity by the euphemistic “the irreducible process”
like sure it'll generate code, and the code will even run! but you won't be able to use it because it doesn't actually do what you need it to do

and thus begins the irreducible process of determining what you need the code to do

“Irreducible background of rogue planets” is an excellent phrase 🔭

Trump assembled one majority, but that does not preclude his opponents from assembling another. We often talk about elections as if we are baking a cake — with the outcome fixed and irreducible — but it is more akin to building a Lego model. The pieces can be arranged a different way.

The irreducible integer of power is relationships.
You say you want to "build power"? Remember, then, that power building begins from relationship building

Earlier today I read irreducible as irredeemable and then my friend said yes, that polynomial is going to hell

POTUS is a perpetual uncertainty generator, a chaos agent.

Capable, highly incentivized teams will do their best to model it & strategize around it but him empowered means unprecedented, irreducible chaos for the U.S. & the world.

This benefits a few with inside info but harms most everyone else.

I am asking Christians — Protestant, Catholic, doesn’t matter — to say out loud what you know to be true in your hearts. For the simple, irreducible truth that Jesus Christ is not a meme. His image is not a political tool. His name is not a brand.

You Gave Him Your Faith. And Now He's Posting Himself as Jesus.
The deal evangelical Christians made with Donald Trump — and what it actually cost them.

But if you really take the ideas seriously, yeah I do think you can’t be meaningfully left wing in any sense that matters and also believe that certain people have irreducible magic connections to the soil by virtue of ancestry alone. There is no version of that that ends well.

Years later and there's people who will get angry and act like you're sex negative for acknowledging there are irreducible risks around sexual strangulation at all and that it's really not a fucking joke playing around with it.

I named my fists Being and Time because they're irreducible objective truth
I named my fists Harold and Maude because they don’t care whether society approves of what they do together
I named my fists Common and Sense because I'm about to bring the Paine

Change is the irreducible element of human history, and this order will not last forever, but it will be very, very painful to live through the upheaval
i think that the people interested in recriminations and score settling right now aren’t seriously grappling with the magnitude of what happened and the implications for the rest of our lives. most of us will probably die living in the political order that will emerge out of this election.

honestly I’ll take this a step further: something like actually existing Zionism is the, if not inevitable, high likely endpoint of a politics that takes the fact that certain people have innate and irreducible connections to the land that makes their claim inherently more legitimate.
Lukewarm take: decolonial rhetoric smuggled a lot of blatant blood and soil ethnonationalism into the Left & we're all due a serious reckoning for our intellectual laziness in accepting the premise of "well some people just have a latent intrinsic national relationship to the sacred land."
There's this annoying habit where people basically go "well Israel is a colonizer so their position isn't valid," & ignoring both the historical problems w/that & the practical uselessness, it amounts to seeing some people's national mythology as latently righteous bc of blood & soil
