If that is correct, then our vote is not necessary to win, and whinging at me or others who hold my view is a bit silly.

If that calculation is incorrect, then it is a massive fumble to throw trans people under the bus, and reflects a terrible candidate who does not understand their constituents.

My hottest Skyrim take is that banning Talos worship is morally correct and Nord nationalism is the fakest ideology on Nirn
"As I prepared to leave Skyrim, I could feel a change in the air, sense the trepidation of some of the good Nord people. Many seemed unhappy with the Empire's continued presence in their land. And the outlawing of the worship of Talos has only strengthened that division."

@scaramucci.bsky.social is at least a very competent human being who has proven himself to be a decent one in the time since. The Micro-mooch (I’m working on the correct term w apologies to The Mooch) is demonstrably a liar, incompetent & shitty person. So there’s that.
I knew this meme would come quickly.

Hindsight is 20:20 and that's a curse. I remember enjoying the fact that I liked things that weren't stereotypically masculine and I was always confused by gender categories and that makes so much sense looking back, but it was such a process to learn to fit in the "correct" gender.

Speaking purely from the perspective of "what income finances savings and consumption" I am sympathetic to the view that "living paycheck to paycheck" means something very different from the vernacular. But Ned is *clearly* correct here on the vernacular.
I think the real finding from surveys like this is that a lot of self-pitying rich people don't know what "paycheck to paycheck" means. If you are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars annually on voluntary expenditures like prep school tuition, you don't count. finance.yahoo.com/economy/arti...
More than a third of Americans earning over $500,000 say they’re living paycheck to paycheck, Goldman Sachs finds
Nearly half of $500K-plus households pay only the minimum on their credit cards, and 80% have put off a major financial goal—more than middle earners on both counts.

The correct conclusion is that nobody knows what's going on, and the models make it even more confusing.

No, the US is being attacked by oligarchs. But, unlike other countries, we have a system in place that supports exposure/recognition of corruption and the will/ability to correct/boot out the grifters. See our free press, court systems, elections, & public responses. Watch!

They have to do something that is not necessarily economically "correct".

While yes, you are correct but that was a hard challenge to begin with seeing how closed off Hatsune was from the start with her. Her sumimi intro could be summed up as a 9-5 type line. She’s so unenthusiastic but keeps the mask up because she’s an idol. But yo know how it is when En, agendas.

This is correct. To the extent that he was anti Nazi, it was too little, too late. He thought by converting to Lutheranism and committing to the German war machine he would be spared and keep his career.

I have a lot of questions about that really ugly ”flying” car… why so ugly? Does it still have the door handles to ensure the passengers burn to death/drowned/etc? Won’t all that smoke blind other drives? Have the chemtrail people weighted in yet? i would argue hovering is not flying, correct?

The V Is for Starting, Not for Cruising. Toes out, heels in, the pizza slice shape: that is how everybody gets moving, and it is correct.

The V Is for Starting, Not for Cruising
Toes out, heels in, the pizza slice shape: that is how everybody gets moving, and it is correct. It is also only for acceleration — standing starts, hills, headwind, broken tarmac. Once you are holding your speed, each skate should set down pointing straight ahead.

So they don't even need to track down that one weird person with the correct identity and opinion anymore. Who needs to interview an "area Mom" that is actually a GOP campaign manager or the one weirdo "I'm a gay Latina who loves Trump" kind of person when you can just have the computer invent them?

this is the correct take and I don't wanna take it away from anybody because fuck probably most of the people involved in building this thing but I just don't see how anyone can take a look at a motor vehicle that corrects itself midair with cold-air thrusters and say "we already had jetpacks"

#AI is the new religion. On one side are #bigtech oligarchs, on the other is the #noai crowd. I lean on the latter. I don't need the ruling class telling me that their religion is "correct". You guys should have thought of a better way to sell #AI because now its an uphill battle. We want the pop!

Sure. Im glad about that. But how bad did it have to get to make that happen?

Anyway. Mocking a Canadian for stating an obvious fact of reality seems a little counterproductive and frankly just rude. Because that person is correct.
