I’m going with a good Islay single malt.
I lived in this village for 4 months and it was amazing. It's Portnahaven on the South Western tip of the Isle of Islay in Scotland. The bay is secluded and a refuge for Seals whereas the Atlantic ocean could be very wild in the winter months.

I loved that curmudgeonly column so (I was a weird kid). The new one is good, it just doesn’t have that erudite crustiness dripping in Islay.
