Ok, this is pretty cool. it kinda becomes this frantic race of "WHERE THE HELL IS THE NEXT ITEMBOX!" and trying to not accidentally hitting ones you don't want. there are emerald ones that are also a possibility. if 2 Runners wanna do a ItemBox Race. hit me up.

Ok, this is pretty cool. it kinda becomes this frantic race of "WHERE THE HELL IS THE NEXT ITEMBOX!" and trying to not accidentally hitting ones you don't want. there are emerald ones that are also a possibility. if 2 Runners wanna do a ItemBox Race. hit me up.
Super Mario Kart Fun Fact :
Item boxes are reset after 30 of them have been taken.
However there is a bug (?) in vanilla SMK which makes down-oriented itembox resets as right-oriented itembox and vice versa.
On the left is "initial" map, and on the right the map after items have been reset :

Since the lives system has been removed, i replaced all 1 up boxes with the swap box, (it's actually a custom box since the OG swap doesn't work outside of Encore)

Ok, the config menu is done!!!! there's 3 pages and the 2 itembox pages are broken down by Mania and Encore.
everything can be edited from here. selecting save will save that to the ini file. no need to do manual editing (unless you don't have a gamepad or working d-pad)

There won't ever be a S-rank no itembox run bc of Chris' starting loadout. Use the FAS? S-rank gone. Dump the FAS at an itembox??? no itembox challenge failed.

Nevermind there's more. I had figured out how to add more itembox types. so this would of given sonic the ability to turn to stone and crush things. like Rock Kirby basically. never found a good way to implement it and it was missing custom sprites.

So i added a Next Level itembox to the randomizer. it can be set to spawn X number of times in a stage. so if you only want one fast exit you can, i'm also thinking of making it hide what it is that way you can't tell and maybe adding one that takes you back to the last stage in the playlist.

Fun fact, there is still leftover code for the Star powerup in the itembox left unused in Super Mario World, meaning they did plan this but scrapped it at the last minute.

まだ試してないんですけど、一つのアイテムに複数のオブジェクトを突っ込むとまとめて一つの物と認識するのですかね？
ItemBOXではないのですが、こんなのを出せるようにしたんですね。見るだけ用です。
まぁ、これがそれぞれ持てるようになるとそれはそれで収集がつかなくなりそうですが…
