Jagannatha as Navagunjara. It's a lovely superposition of two visual ideas: one, of Navagunjara - a chimeric creature composed of nine (!) different animals (every limb is unique!). Another, of Jagannath - a Hindu god whom non-Jagannath followers often consider to be a form of Krishna (or maybe not)

Each year it's harder to get back into Toronto for Ratha Yatra. It was my favorite summer tradition for ~25yrs, and not being able to get back annually has been so disappointing.

But I found out there's a smaller version happening the town over. So I'm checking that out today!

最近、Jagannatha Horaをあまり使っていなかった。久々にJHで自分のチャートを見ていて、出生時刻を±0.5秒の範囲まで絞り込んだ。

あくまで「この占星術アプリでの値」になるので、そこまでやる意味はないと思っていたし、自分の入籍の時刻（図の日付のAM10:30～AM10:50）を使うとその辺りが絞れるも分かっていたが、一応値を求めておこうと言う気になった。

強い象意というのは、恐ろしいほど同じ星が並ぶ。

GUIライブラリを変えて見た目もスッキリ。コードの修正も少し楽になったかな。

自作アプリとJagannatha Horaの度数の差分も、ラグナとノードを除けば約0.2秒角以内と申し分ない。星の差分だけ見るならトロピカルで比べるのが確実。

ラグナの差分は時間換算で2秒以内くらいだろう。

アヤナムシャは11秒角の差があるが、これはどのライブラリからチトラー（スピカ）の位置を引用するかで変わってくるので、オプションは色々と用意している。

Jagannatha Horaと比較しても大分精度が上がってきた。まだ精度は上がる。

月の誤差、実はShri Jyoti StarやJagannnatha Horaは、±10,000年以上見れる代わりに、直近数世紀の月の精度が落ちるデータベースを使っている。

最近はDE44x系にバージョンアップしているが、傾向は同じ。月の精度が悪いとダシャーがズレる。

自身の計算精度が上がらなかったので何年も大きな声では言えなかった。

ラグナとトゥルーノードはどちらもガチで難しい。ラグナと月のズレは時間換算で数10秒。
