For writing paper i avoid using anything under 100gr/m^2 (500page pack costs about 7€) and my to go ink for everyday is black parker quink... But I love fantasy colors so i have different fountain pens for when i can be less serious. For inks, i like JHerbin(They are NOT lightfast tho) and Diamine

If Emerald of Chivor was actually green instead of teal, it'd make for a nice fancy Symboli Rudolf ink.

I got it in a sample pack but won't be buying a bottle because I don't like glitter inks. More teal forward than Walden Pond.

This one is an excellent one that almost everyone loves (Emerald of Chivor by J.Herbin). One thing to know about sheen is that paper is so important as to whether it shows up to not (paper can't be too absorbent, the more it sits on the page while drying the better) mountainofink.com/blog/jherbin...
