Julián Herbert is not a writer we've published, but consider certainly among the most important Latin American writers since Roberto Bolaño. 'Canción de tumba' (Tomb Song) is a tremendously moving work.

Julián Herbert is a must, one of the most significcant Mexican and Latin American writers since Roberto Bolaño (OK, the latter born in Chile, but I'd still put him within Mexican literature.)

All morning reading Freud and Lacan, all afternoon reading Julián Herbert; I could hardly tell the difference.
