Holy shit youguise, I think I cracked it. Serial passthrough in 5.3.1.0 is now totally asynchronous and doesn’t even really need the main CPU, it’s all handled in interrupt context (by overriding the irq handlers provided by SerialUSB and SerialUART).

yaaay! I finally got some reliable-ish python and raspberrry pio code working with the #jumperlessv5 to generate pulses for hardware glitching. Next step is get this hooked up to a mosfet and some test hardware.

@robotriddims.bsky.social you will appreciate this: software defined breadboard. Hilariously over engineered.
