Shrish has released an open source package rayshrish.github.io/camino/ to do wavefront sensing from JWST defocused images, the main sensing mode on NIRCam, and it closely matches (but improves upon) the MAST-available retrievals.

Cat’s head nebula with Hubble and JWST 🔭 - happy Halloween 🎃 🐈‍⬛
Cat got your tongue? That’s how we feel when looking at new images of the Cat’s Head Nebula by Hubble and #NASAWebb. With its glowing eye—likely a star buried by gas and dust—this nebula has arrived in time for Halloween: https://news.stsci.edu/4sq4Los 🔭

Shrish is building a big tower of tools for calibrating his upcoming JWST program (www.stsci.edu/jwst/science...) in the months before he moves to start a postdoc at Marseille - I'm very excited about all the cool work he's doing and sad to see him leave just as it's coming to fruition!
