Yesterday, J & K pod traveled about Puget Sound. This morning they were audible on the Sunset Bay hydrophone placing them somewhere in the north end. Hopefully they are finding enough salmon for themselves & the new little babe K47!

I’m waiting for the prime to dry on my k47 weapon teams, I thought I’d push on with the 2 vault dweller heroes.
I’ve really enjoyed painting these 2 and I’m looking forward to getting a campaign written so I can send them off on some adventures through the Wasteland.

I’m keen not to give these orcs the classic green skin, so I’ll do a mix of dark maroons and greys. Should be fun. 👍

The last few days has been largely putting out fires and dealing with truly astonishing amounts of family-related stress (Yay!) so I stole some time today to throw paint on these US Guardians for K47. I do quite like the doofy flag icons for that comic book adjacent look. Just gotta finish bases!

I’ve now finished the US Marine detachment for my K47 US army. I really enjoyed converting these chaps and their Studebaker truck.
I’ve got a US heavy weapon platoon, which I’ll be converting next.

Trench Crusade tickles my brain in a very specific way. I'm not a huge fan of some of the more esoteric stuff in there - 'and then, Hell' doesn't really do it for me - but the dieselpunk visual of some of the equipment is just... mwah, chefkiss.

Warlord Games Kangaroo. This one did not play nice and just wouldn't take paint. Useful as an objective marker for K47 though.

Of course! The K47 turret is a single piece! Alright, 3 but mostly 1 big bit.
The point is that 3d printed easy 8 my friend did for me that has a broken turret can house this!

Also nearly finished today, two minimum-sized squads of US Heavy Infantry with an officer and attendant. There's another five guys and a bazooka team to add to this which will be the core of my K47 US Assault Platoon. Nuts to Fireflies, gimme steel!
