COP ratings over 1 mean the unit produces more heat per kwh of electricity than is possible with electric resistance. However, this only tells you the environmental benefit which is somewhat offset by cost to purchase and costs+resources to manufacture. If the room is <150sqft baseboard may win.

providing a handfull of kWh during peak demand as a VPP could make a dent. i still think AC V2G makes more sense, use the inverter already in the car, however that limits you to whatever the inverter in your car is, and what the house phases are. unless you have 3p, the max is 7.2kw, a decent amount

Nur, wenn man 119,88 € im Jahr dafür hinlegt. Du musst also 1200 kWh nur an deren eigenen Säulen kaufen (Roaming ist immer zu teuer), bis Du den ersten Cent gespart hast. Das wären bei meinem 50-kWh-Auto zwei Ladevorgänge von 0 auf 100 pro Monat oder 7500 km. So viel bekäme ich nie zusammen.

Falsch verstanden: das Geld wird faktisch nicht pro kWh gezahlt! Es ist nur eine Garantie, dass im Falle von Preisen unterhalb der Garantie nach oben aufgebessert wird. Wichtig für die Banken, damit das Invest überhaupt zustandekommt!

For some basic numbers, if you end up needing 500 W of heating output on average, then you might need 1,200 kWh of energy over a winter.
A heat pump could very well cut that down to 300 kWh, which might save you a couple hundred bucks a year.
But it's *way* more cost up front.
