ooooooo what year is your iMac?? Because going straight to Linux from MacOs can be fun, like I have my 2012 macbook pro that works wonderfully with Fedora (LM and Endeavour too!) and then Fedora that KaiT2En ships with their drivers on my 2020 macbook pro

I got the solution from one of the #kait2en developers: reset wifi to 5GHz so that it doesn't interfere with Bluetooth. Simple! Terminal command "nm-connection-editor." Then Wifi -> Band and click 5GHz in the dropdown.

I got my #used #macbookair, and used #kait2en to get #Fedora #GNOME onto it. I am sad to not be on Debian any more, but it doesn't run on this specific unit (sigh).

But it works! The screen is beautiful! The speakers are clear! The camera is... okay. Alas.
