Frankly, if a keffiya or a statement makes some people feel 'unsafe', it's time for others of us to say as I do that Segal's proposal makes me feel unsafe that the sheer nastiness of Advance makes me feel unsafe. How many indigenous Australians now feel unsafe? Lebanese Australians?

I went with a couple of my (adult) kids. The middlest wore their keffiya (bought by my Mum in Palestine nearly 30 years ago) and Always Was Always Will Be t-shirt.
I loved using Build a Ballot, and voted for people I had not heard of before doing so.
