This week, so far, I finished narration for an amazing fantasy audiobook, and got to have lunch with these amazing narrators. Time well spent.

FALLING FOR DANIEL: Falling bk 3.5 by #TracyLorraine, narrated by #KelliTager & #AlexBates 4🌟

Really good but incomplete. I need more!

Book cover Title: Falling for Daniel, a Falling series novella Author: Tracy Lorraine Read by: Kelli Tager and Alex Bates *****Book review***** >Welcoming in the New Year!< I want to rate this higher, but the story isn't complete. What is here is well-written and fun to read, but that quick couple of pages epilogue doesn't put a dent into what I was expecting to see. Daniel Carter and Beth are fantastic! From the stolen glances to the declaration of how the night ends to the whirlwind plans that arise, I love it. I simply need the fully fleshed out version of it. I know it's been nearly a decade since it was released, but I'm going to hold out hope that Tracy finishes what she started. -- Book quote 'I’ve just walked away from one disastrous relationship, the last thing I need is to fall head first into another. Not that this could be a relationship. I mean this guy is clearly a player of epic proportions. If his skills alone didn’t prove that then the drawer full of condoms sure did.' -- Beth I'm holding out hope that the rest of their story gets told in between the others in the series. I'll try to remember to come back and update this if it does. 🤞 I read along with the audio book. The narrators, Alex Bates and Kelli Tager, are really good. The production has a few issues, but they didn't impact my ability to enjoy this. 🎧❤️🎧 Story: 4 stars Narration: 3.5 stars Listening Speed: 2.0x H = late 30s; h = 26 >TROPES & TRIGGERS:< 💔 Cheating Ex 👀 Age Gap 💙 One-night stand 🎁 No protection 🔥 Open-door steamy scenes 🌶 ❣️ He'll change his ways for her 🚧 Happy for now, kind of

FALLING FOR JAX: Falling bk 3 by #TracyLorraine, narrated by #AlexBates & #KelliTager 4🌟

This is as steamy as it is heartbreaking.

Book cover Title: Falling for Jax, the Falling Series Book #3 Author: Tracy Lorraine Read by: Kelli Tager and Alex Bates *****Book review***** >Finding Forever After Tragedy< This starts where Molly and Ryan's book ends, and it's so heartbreaking. 😢💔🤰 This can be triggering for some, so be mindful. When not experiencing some of the worst moments in many women's lives, their story goes between present and past. Some of it is known from 'Falling for Ryan', but we get to see more details and why they broke up. -- Book quote 'I think Abbi unknowingly ruined me for anyone else from that first evening of meeting her. Hell, I’m pretty sure I fell in love with her the moment my eyes locked with hers that day.' -- Jax Parker It turns out that Abigail (Abbi, Abs) Evans and Jackson (Jax) Parker have plenty of baggage beyond the opening events. It's painful and added to the heartbreak. Their reunion is definitely bittersweet, but I really like them together and am happy with the ending. I read along with the audio book. The narrators, Alex Bates and Kelli Tager, are really good. The production has a few issues, including recording quality of Kelli's parts, but they mildly impact my ability to enjoy this. 🎧💙🎧 Story: 4 stars Narration: 3.5 stars Listening Speed: 2.0x H & h = early to mid-20s >TROPES & TRIGGERS:< 💔 Loss of pregnancy 🤰 👀 Protective MMC 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Found family 🍇 Sexual assault 🎁 No protection 💔 Crappy parents 🧸 Nurturing MMC 🔥 Open-door scenes 🌶

ROMANCING THE GRAVESTONE: A Jane Ladling Mystery bk 1 by #GenaShowalter & #JillMonroe, narrated by #KelliTager 5🌟

I ❤️ this story! Jane & Conrad, plus Fiona, Rolex, & Beau💋

Book cover Title: Romancing the Gravestone, a Jane Ladling Mystery Author: Gena Showalter and Jill Monroe *****Book review***** >Golden Order of Seven< While scrolling through the library's catalog, I came across this. I almost didn't pick it up, but I've liked the handful of books from Gena that I've read, so I did. It would've been a shame had I passed it up. This is laugh out loud funny! 🤣 Jane Ladling is a mess in the best way. Special Agent Conrad Ryan is a mix between stoic, alpha, and sweet. Beau may be interested in more than friendship, but I love where that goes. And Fiona Lawrence is pure entertainment; she reminds me a little of each of the ladies from The Golden Girls. ❤️ -- Book quote 'Sign her up for a fresh hit of Agent Spice each day forever and probably weeks after.' -- Jane Ladling I love the non-dream fever dreams when Jane gets sick. That's fun! Also, Rolex is a great companion for Jane. The mystery is... well, with Jane involved... let's just say it's interesting. My attention never wavered throughout this adventure. I borrowed the audio book. The narrator, Kelli Tager, is absolutely hilarious with her presentation of Jane, Fiona, Conrad, Beau, and the rest of this cast of characters. Her performance is *chef's kiss* fantastic! As much as I prefer two narrators in duet, I just cannot imagine it here. Kelli's pacing and amusing delivery is too perfect to monkey with. Story: 5 stars Narration: 5 stars Listening Speed: 1.8x H = 30s?; h = 26
