I mean, I really don’t mind this year going so fast as the sooner we get to the summer the better as summer means holiday time! But still… it’s nearly the middle of February and Christmas was only last week so that can’t be correct. I think the problem is that I am far too busy at work, so days disappear in the blink of an eye and I do nothing remotely exciting to slow time down.

Well, I said last week that, weather permitting, I had something planned for this past weekend. It was very much a case of do we/don't we, right up until Thursday night given the fact that they kept forecasting showers through Friday and Saturday. Well, dear reader(s), at 19:00 on Thursday evening we thought 'stuff it ...', and so we did. Travel that is.

And here we are at the start of another week. The last full week in March. On the countdown to the clock changing again, and, better new for me, a succession of short working weeks. Training most of this week, but I'm off Friday afternoon and then not back in the office until Tuesday. Bargain. In fact, for one reason or another (plus all the Bank Holidays over April and May) I don't think I work another full week for about seven weeks.
