There was a kiteboarder out on the water for about and hour while we were there and a) I want to do that but maybe on a warmer day and b) the dogs were fascinated. We had to releash Pen because of fears she’d go into the drink after him.

It was quite windy on the Chesapeake Bay this morning, which made for ideal conditions for this kiteboarder to ignore the speed limit and attack the waves.

I think this was when the kiteboarder was bringing his kit back on shore and the dogs weren’t sure what to make of it. Penny was furious at his sail once it was on the beach, for dog reasons.

Conditions have been amazing the past few days for #coldwater swimming in Lake Michigan. Air temp 70, water temp 37. Wonderful to stay on the beach afterwards with a thermos of milky sweet tea.
