Kiht'tan, is his full name, because his nine older sisters turned out to be brothers, and his suffix got bumped down one by one as they transitioned. Eventually (somewhere after the third brother) they started calling him Kit XD

i haven’t quite worked out the exact lore for Kit’s parents but his father would have been his sire — and Kit would have been “kit” (as in like, child), which is partly why he adopts it as a name after leaving the wood
