Get Over It
That brought Avalan back to Estinien and the staring. Sometimes, when she was with Aymeric, she'd catch Estinien looking at her with a unpleasant expression, but he never said anything to her. Avalan intended to confront him about it next time she saw him—convinced that it had to be some form of jealousy or…something

He felt sick to his stomach. Under the guise of letting Avalan rest, he quickly excused himself. In truth, he could no longer bear to stand in her presence knowing what he'd done. He had half a mind to enter her room once more, break down, and tell her the truth, pleading for her forgiveness, but the damage was done. The only thing that act would serve would be making him look even more pathetic. No, instead, Urianger chose to seek out the only person he could lament too about his predicament. The man whom had put him in this damnable situation.

i been working on this post "In From the Cold" questline fic for like a year 😭😭😭

#kiwiwrites #ffxivwrite
A harsh wind picked up through Camp Broken Glass, and though before Avalan would shirk into her scarf—or rather, the scarf she snagged from G'raha Tia—for just a modicum of protection against Garlemald's harsh, biting cold, the chill didn't even make her flinch this time. Her senses were all messed up after returning to her body so she didn't feel much of anything. Though Avalan would concede that it was much better feeling than the excruciating pain she was in not too long ago. Being in that Garlean soldier’s body was a nightmare! She heard the grinding of its bones with every step it was forced to take. She would have screamed the whole way back to the camp, alas, she wasn't even allowed that luxury. Now here she sat, just waiting for the Scions inevitable call for her to get up and fight once more.

G'raha lead the two back to the bed, though, this time he gently pushed Avalan to her back so that he could take in all of her, as one would do to any work of art. Avalan was noticeably more tense than she was moments ago. Doubtless, the anxiety of having her scars exposed corroded away her once unwavering confidence. G'raha brought her closer to him, so that her burned side was close to his face, and placed his lips to her shoulder. Slowly, he trailed gentle kisses down her arm. It wasn't until he reached her hand that Avalan began to protest. “Y-you don't need to do that!” she stammered out. G’raha’s scarlet eyes met her rose pink ones and he smiled gently at her. “No, but I wish to admire every part of you.”

me writing naruto fanfic for the first time in forever.

it's keiko and itachi having a conversation after she revives him (using a Phoenix Down might I add)

#kiwiwrites #naruto #narutorot
"Are you unhappy that I did this?" She asked. The question took him aback and hesitated before saying, "No, I… I'm still trying to process all of this… I imagine that brother of mine is unaware of all of this?" Keiko nodded. "I don't think anyone knows. Well, actually, the Akatsuki probably know since Zetsu saw me. They likely know that I'm alive and that I took your body, but, well, I was a bit emotional at the time after realizing you were dead so..." She crossed her arms, and muttered. "They might think I went crazy and deserted."

"Fray"/Esteem is Avalan's anger and intrusive thoughts made manifest to protect Avalan but it also has its own little personality which is being a little shit. It antagonizes Avalan a lot, sometimes to illicit cathartic reactions from her, but most times its just being a bitch

#aotd #kiwiwrites
"What the hell does that mean?" Avalan asked the dark figure. Esteem's eerie, glowing eyes slid from Urianger to Avalan. "Exactly as I say. There are simply some things that I know and remember that you have no knowledge of or have forgotten." "Like what?" Avalan asked incredulously and crossed her arms as she waited for Esteem to answer. It cocked its head at her, then did what appeared to be a blink before adjusting its position. Every movement was deliberately slow. It wasn't until Avalan huffed an annoyed sigh did it deign to answer her question.

me reading my smut wips: "damn someone should finish this!"

marked for nsfw text. This is basically Avalan and G'raha's POV from this comic

#kiwiwrites #ffxivwrite
Through heated touches and swift kisses, the couple somehow stumbled their way to a table in True Vue. Avalan boldly sat atop G'raha's lap and kissed him deeply. He happily wrapped an arm around her waist to dive deeper into her luxurious lips. Avalan shifted her position so that she straddled G'raha's hips as she held his body closer to hers, kissing his warm, plump lips over and over and over. His breath hitched for a second as she moved, her body now rubbing wonderfully against his hardening length. G'raha moaned and continued to purr loudly into her mouth. A sound vaguely nagged at the base of Avalan's bad horn, but she didn't bother to look back. She figured it couldn't have been too important if G'raha didn't even flinch at the noise. She was much more focused on the game she was playing: How much more she could squirm around in G'raha's lap before it drove him crazy? Though with how he moaned hopelessly in her mouth and his hands grabbed desperately at her rear, pushing and pulling her against his arousal, she silently proclaimed herself the winner and stuck her tongue further into his mouth as her prize. She began to pull G'raha's scarf from his neck when, the nagging noise from before became more coherent to her. "Mayhap the two of you should procure a space to be alone?" Came Urianger's voice, in a scolding tone he saved especially for when she and G'raha were up to no good.

G'raha's face contorted with pain as the healing magicks slowly mended the terrible wound; but when he opened an eye and peered at his love, G'raha attempted a smile. "Ah, y-you're awake," he said to her, "Thank the T-Twelve—" his words sputtered into bloody coughs and Avalan could only watch his horror as the three healing him tried to keep him steady. Y'shtola spoke firmly. "G'raha, please, try to refrain from speaking for now." Avalan’s fist clenched and she willed away the tears threatening to spill from her eyes, channeling the fear into anger. "That damn bastard! I really will kill him this time!" She grabbed her arm, still looking away from him. "…There's nothing to talk about. I had a bad day and took it out on you. I'm sorry, really. I just want us to forget about it now." Unconvinced, Urianger crossed him arms. "Full many of thy 'bad days' hath I witnessed—few leave thy body in possession of a…spirit. A spirit that claimeth Moenbryda to be the source of thy anguish. That the circumstances of her death affects thee even now. " Avalan snapped, "Esteem doesn't know shit about me so let's drop it already! I don't understand why you're so determined to continue this conversation!" Her rage boiled over far too quickly for her to even think about what she was saying. "This is basically a suicide mission.” She lets out a pathetic laugh. “My indecisiveness has wasted so much time.” Just before Aymeric can say anything in response, she cuts him off quickly. “Erm, sorry for bringing down the mood. It's just anxiety… Ignore me. In fact, let's go—” Aymeric, squeezes Avalan's cheeks together, until she can no longer ramble on through her fish lips. “Avalan. Never apologize for feeling, dear. I honestly can't even imagine having the weight of the entire star on your shoulders—for a second time, no less!” He releases his grip on her face. “We ask so much of you, but if I know anything, it's that you have always made the impossible possible. I believe you will return to us. Or, if I could be selfish for just a moment—” Aymeric gazes deeply into Avalan's rose pink eyes—and she swore she saw his own darken for a moment, as if his briefly covetous nature had taken form. His next words are a hiss against her horn: “Return to me.” Avalan stands abruptly, though the blush on face did not lead Aymeric into thinking he had overstepped. “We need to go back to the Annex!” she excla

I wrote a short drabble for Chionysayle confession that might get retconned later but I wanted to convey that Chione is not perfect in every situation 🤭

#kiwiwrites #ffxivwrite #ffxivfanfic #chioneverse #chione #ysayle
Chione declares to Ysyale: “I have…some sort of feelings for you. It may be love. Or mayhap not…” It is sudden but Ysyale is unimpressed by her show. “Ah. So succinctly put. Do let me know when you've figured it out?” she bites out, and Chione believes it well deserved. She called the Elezen woman out here, yet delivered her message with doubts and uncertainties. Ysayle has the right mind to turn heel and walk away but Chione catches her wrist before she can quit the viera entirely. “Forgive me. I… These emotions, I don't fully understand them myself. Until recently, I've not thought highly of mankind. The pests of the world. Oft I wonder if it would be better without them roaming about and spawning more of their kind. Festering.” Chione’s words taper off and Ysyale studies her gaze. “I believe I reveal far too much of my detest for man.” “Indeed. Yet I'm flattered that the feelings do not seem to extend to me.” Ysyale smiles and offers a question to the Viera “Tell me, Chione, what is it about me that leads you to believe you love me? Or ‘mayhap’ love me?” Ysayle quotes her with a derisive tone. The question challenges Chione. Her eyes narrow in confusion and she repeats back, “What is it?” trying to fully understand what Ysayle is asking. Ysyale huffs an irritated sigh. “Yes, what do you like about me? And, if you have never felt as such before, what makes you so certain that what you feel is love? Are you absolutely positive that you do not hate me as well?” Chione crosses her arms and hums. It was a fair query, Chione admits to herself and she lets out an amused chuckle. “Nay, I am familiar with hate. This is far from it.” Chione's bright orange eyes lock with Ysayle’s piercing white ones, then slowly slide to her hair, long and flowing, lavishly down her shoulders. “If you are to know what I like about you,” Chione steps forward and twines a lock of Ysyales hair between her fingers and places it to her lips in a brief kiss, before saying, “Your hair is lovely.” Ysyale is taken aback by the kiss to her hair. A light blush forms on her pale cheeks and she softens to the touch. “I-is that so?” “Indeed. Beautiful and long. And this pure white color,” Chione smiles fondly, “It reminds me of my Goddess.” “H-halone?” Ysayle’s shoulders drop. Any amount of happiness she may have felt dissipates as Chione nods in confirmation. A bitter laugh breaks free of the elezens woman's lips. “I see.” She brushes Chione's hand away and takes a step back, turning away from the viera. Chione tilts her head. “Is aught amiss?” Ysayle’s words were as cold as the ice spells she wielded. “Yes, flattering as it is to be compared to a god, I do not wish to be pursued by you if I am to remind you of another.” She turns heel and nearly runs off before Chione can get another word in, leaving the immortal being by her lonesome, contemplating her poor attempt at courting a woman.
