Found a really old snippet that ended up being cut from “if we fall” btw. #kofics
"He hates me," Leon whispered miserably, tucking his face into Francis's chest as the younger brother held him patiently. "He's going to kick me out. He's going to throw me out into the woods and I'm going to die." "He's not going to do that," Francis replied sharply. He sounded annoyed, but his touch was gentle, his fingers tracing lazy circles into Leon's back. "You scared him. You didn't hear him after you ran. He was scared." Their roles had somewhat reversed since then. Now it was Francis pressing his cheek to Leon's shoulder, and Leon's arms attempting to hold him in an awkward embrace as their legs entwined. A knotted tangle of limbs, breaths and heartbeats slowing to fall into sync with each other. A fortress of blankets and limbs for the two of them, encasing them from the outside of the world.

It was a sex thing. It hadn't been at first. And not at it's core. But of course the nature of Ingo's interests had evolved as he had gotten older. Taking care of Emmet was an involved process, after all. And something he took immense pride in. It wouldn't do to neglect any part of him, to ignore anything that ached for attention. And he could tell as he looked down at Emmet's flushed cheeks that he ached for attention. He undressed him reverently, but not as if he were some untouchable deity. He dragged his shorts down his legs with his teeth and sucked at the soft flesh of his thighs. The bonnet was safely untied and tucked away, but the top and the socks remained in place. He may have been dressed up with nowhere to go, but he certainly wasn't dressed up with nothing to do. Not that he was expected to do anything but lie still and look ravishing. The clothes were not sacred. Ingo didn't care if they became ripped or stained or ruined. He would simply repair and replace them, at whatever cost was deemed necessary. He would even admit that Emmet became even more beautiful and enticing the more tattered the garments that hung from his body. This was their game; Ingo was a child again, and Emmet was his doll. Sometimes Ingo pampered and spoiled his toy, and sometimes he gripped him in his teeth like an overexcited Lillipup and poured all of his affections and frustrations into him. He wasn't good at restraining himself; he never had been. His love had always felt like sitting in the eye of a hurricane. And Emmet, ever the willing vessel, always eager for Ingo to mould him into whatever form suits him best, took it all with a growing smile.

blankshipping idol au monologue thing. Just needed to write it down somewhere. It’s not just the dark that yearns for the light. #kofics #shutupko
“I think it is hard for people to understand that I do not care to have everyone’s eyes on me.” “At first I thought that was what I wanted. At first I thought that would be enough.” “More and more. Dozens, and then hundreds, and then thousands. But I did not feel complete. I did not feel the hole in my heart being filled.” “It is not that a sea of stars is not beautiful. But it does not fulfil me. They are— too bright. Too distracting. The stage lights, the penlights, the phone screens. I cannot see past them to look for—“ “You.” “I long for the dark, and the quiet. I know that is where I will find you.“ “I long for the darkness to blot out the screams. To put out the lights. I long for it to suffocate me, in dark, blissful silence.” “The nights you kissed me, soft and secret, in dark, blissful silence, were the happiest of my life.” “I long for you to swallow me — every part of me — until I am part of the darkness too.”

Anyway I found this while looking at my wips. They’re so divorced to me. #kofics
Morty felt a brief twinge of surprise to see that it was Eusine cowering at his front door, but after the moment of shock had passed, he supposed he shouldn't have been. A confusing myriad of emotions swelled in his chest for a moment as he took in his appearance - relief and joy and annoyance and resentment. And then just as quickly, they all receded into carefully restrained numbness. Eusine reacted how he always did; rashly and honestly. His eyes lit up at the sight of him, and a wide grin spread across his face. "Morty-!" He faltered then, looking a bit sheepish. "I didn't wake you, did I?" He couldn't keep the smile from crawling across his lips. "A Snorlax would have been hard pressed to sleep through the racket you were making," he countered teasingly. Eusine deflated a bit at that, grumbling exasperated excuses under his breath. The playfulness of their exchange trailed off in the silence, leaving the air between them feeling heavy and awkward. Morty was surprised to find his voice was level when he spoke. "What are you doing here?" It had been almost two years. Eusine scoffed a bit at the question, and Morty felt something inside him - some blossoming seed of hope - shrivel up at the sound. "I've got a new lead on Suicune, of course. It's something I need to cross-reference with the legends in the archives, so obviously I came here." Surely he realized that it had been two years, didn't he? No word of goodbye. No note. No phone calls. "It's the middle of the night," Morty pointed out. "Well, yes. I came as fast as I could." About a thousand things he could say were swirling about in his head. Ranging from cold to sweet to enraged to grateful. He said none of them, because none of them would have made any difference. "I'lI make coffee, then." He turned to leave the foyer, to make his way to the kitchen. Eusine audibly balked a bit at his sudden exit, straightening himself up fully from where he'd left his dress shoes at the door and hurrying after him. "It's the middle of the night," he echoed Morty's previous sentiment, sounding a bit bewildered. "It's not as if either of us will be going to sleep,” Morty retorted as-a-matter-of-factly. Eusine couldn't seem to argue with that.

When Emmet comes home, it's not with the usual spark to him that accompanies a successful feed. He stumbles at the threshold trying to rip his shoes off, and at least he has the decency to shut the door of their shared bedroom before clumsily struggling out of his clothing. His clattering around and irritated grumbling under his breath rouses Ingo from sleep and he fumbles around for a light, watching Emmet flinch a bit as the room is illuminated. He looks even worse that he had when Ingo had seen him after school before his date. His skin is flushed red and shining with sweat, and his horns and tail are on full display. His tail thrashes about like an angry cats as he leans against his bedpost, breathing heavily, as if he'd just run a mile. "Emmet?" Ingo broke the silence as he threw off his bedcovers, making to cross the room over to him, but Emmet raised a hand defensively in his direction. "Don't- do not get close, Ingo, I do not- I feel bad." Ingo falters, fists curled uselessly at his sides, aching to disregard Emmet's words but knowing Emmet wouldn't deprive himself of physical contact from him without a good reason. "Feel bad how? Are you sick?" "Hungry..." Emmet mutters darkly, sinking to his knees to the floor and leaning his head into his mattress, muffling his voice somewhat. "Verrrrrrry hungry... head hurts..." Ingo's frown deepens in confusion. "I thought... what about Marissa?" Emmet groans loudly, sounding exasperated. "What about her?" "I thought you-" "I didn't.” Emmet interrupts irritably. "Because you had that look." This throws Ingo for a bit of a loop. What does he have to do with this? "Pardon?" "Uuughh... It does not matter. I will figure it out. Go back to sleep." "Emmet, I'm not going to make you suffer through this alone." "There is nothing you can do, Ingo.” "There must be something-" "There ISN'T." Emmet hisses, turning his head to glare over his shoulder at his brother. Ingo could swear his single silvery eye was glowing harshly in the dim yellow lamp light. Ingo huffed stubbornly, taking a step towards him. Emmet immediately tenses, struggling back to his feet to face him. He almost looks fearful. "Stop! Do not come closer!"

He was always doing something wrong, always needed scolding, always needed saving— Not now, though!
