Ha, I see that grip tape! I had to do the same thing with my Krinkov; the finish on the wood furniture was just SO slick I had to Dremel a hash pattern on the pistol grip and add grip tape to all the normal contact points. Not super comfortable for long duration shoots, but very effective.
