"A kurent resembles a demon dressed in a large sheepskin costume. They carry a belt of large bells around their waists that ring when the creatures shake their hips."
These guys aren't as well known as Krampus, but they should be. They're just as fun!

Great seeing Nathan and Lauren Murray at Cleveland Kurentovanje. Nathan runs Superelectric Pinball Parlor on W. 65th. Lauren leads Dunham Tavern Museum, Cleveland’s oldest building on its original site. Thanks for the photo and the Angry Mike memories. Two true Cleveland gems.

Et on va se tenter d’aller au Kurentovanje en février, le carnaval slovène avec les kurrenti (voir photo).
Ça fait plus de 10 ans que je veux y aller et que je le fais pas (pourquoi faire les trucs qui nous rendent heureux hein?).

Et on va se tenter d’aller au Kurentovanje en février, le carnaval slovène avec les kurrenti (voir photo).

Prepovedujejo pa se kurentovanje, pustovanje, jurjevanje in ostala nekrščanska sranja.
