It sounds like Border Patrol killed someone in Texas today but it's hard to tell exactly what happened based on this convoluted article.
In fact, two large 90%+ Hispanic counties, Hidalgo (McAllen) & Webb (Laredo) have already *surpassed* their early vote totals from 2024, pretty remarkable for a midterm.
Meanwhile, the reddest large TX county, Montgomery, is at just 77% of its 2024 EV turnout.

It's all up to the border I think. More counties in DFW are blue than before. Houston, San Antonio, Austin and El Paso are solidly blue. If Laredo to Brownsville go blue, I'm guessing it's a wrap.
