Time for lawsuits to kill it immediately
BREAKING: A federal panel just *approved* Trump's planned triumphal arch.

The administration has said it plans to begin work on the 250-ft-tall arch immediately.

Republicans didn’t factor South Carolina into their Alaska lawsuits math
November 4, 2026 at 3:29 AM
Yeah I imagine the lawsuits are already being prepared
November 4, 2026 at 6:39 AM
they’re going to whine and moan and file lawsuits and drag it out as long as humanly possible

but Senator Scott Colom (D-MS) is real
THREAD: Affidavit ballots broke for Democrat Scott Colom by a 69%-29% margin in Lafayette County, Mississippi, the home of the University of Mississippi.

The affidavits far exceed his overall lead there against Cindy Hyde-Smith, which is 49%-48%. 1/

Seriously y'all.

I'm constantly discovering knock on effects of Dems winning so big last night.

The lawsuits that were based out of Texas are DONE.
One thing with the Texas AG's office going blue is that the investigation of WPATH by Texas will end.

We're going to see a lot of the targeting of trans healthcare stop and existing restrictions fall.

The Dem AG could refuse to defend the GAC ban, bathroom ban, etc.

In Georgia I think we are already out of “GOP election lawsuits” territory. They’re gonna need a lot more than 11,000 more votes. It’s a goddamn blowout.
November 4, 2026 at 12:26 AM
god I can’t even conceptualize how many lawsuits are like dead to rights because of Blexas
November 5, 2026 at 3:22 AM
like... half of the terrible lawsuits in this country originate out of the texas AG office and go through handpicked texas judges

what do you mean that's run by a democrat now
November 4, 2026 at 4:35 PM
This has to face massive lawsuits, right?
November 5, 2026 at 7:55 PM
There are several lawsuits out to stop it from being built.

Dems have been bringing actions and lawsuits since day 1; Google could have prevented this post.
Dems want action. If they cant bring the heat they should step aside for more qualified people to lead. No one is entitled to the position.

I can't believe we lived through the napster lawsuits to end up here.

fucking hell this sucks

killing a bill that will reduce emissions on net because it makes it harder to launch lawsuits to prevent building new buildings
Huge. And a very smart leadership decision by House Minority Leader Jeffries to avoid a bloody factional fight after the Blue Tsunami.
November 6, 2026 at 1:59 AM
there's already a LAW in place stopping Trump doing this

....and yes....there are also lawsuits
November 6, 2026 at 4:08 AM
The lawsuits will keep Buccee's going...if he can still afford the lawyers.

Time for lawsuits in Washington state

Marcy at @emptywheel.bsky.social makes the case for why House Dems should hire attorney Margaret Donovan to assist in their investigations. Donovan has been busy filing lawsuits against illegal DOJ firings, and exposing the corruption rampant in this admin.

Margaret Donovan's Gavel - emptywheel
Jamie Raskin and Sheldon Whitehouse could hit the ground running by using the lawsuits filed by Margaret Donovan on behalf of FBI Agents and AUSAs purged by Trump to kick start investigations.

That didn't happen naturally. Lots of lawsuits/litigation by Democrats.

May this be one of a tsunami of such bombshell lawsuits.

Phew! Glad this happened.

This means Texas will be on lawsuits AGAINST Trump, instead of trying to protect him.
