Letraset!!! If you love pre-computer age graphic design, watch Briar Levit's documentary Graphic Means. It's streaming on many platforms and it is sheer delight.

Ah, Letraset. The joy of using an upside down 'p' as a 'd' because you had run out of 'd's...

My dad worked at Kueffel and Esser and brought the Letraset pages home to 8 and 9 year olds. The fun we had.

I still have a few sheets in my studio somewhere.

Kylläpä tuli nuoruus mieleen. Silloin oli kunnollista ja ties vaikka jossain laatioiden kätköissä olisi vielä muutama fossiloitunut letraset ja rasteriarkki tallessa 😄

My first job in artwork studio was organising the letraset lettering and Pantone paper cabinets.
Later in career as studio manager trying to explain to juniors how work was done without computers, their heads could not believe how work was done. Like I was a caveman explaining cave paintings

I still have a box of about 50 various sheets!

Buy a sheet, and immediately go to a nearby self-serve copy store & illegally run off a dozen copies. Letraset included fewer vowels on a sheet to force you to buy a another to finish a job. Having copies, you could knife in a replacement vowel.

No for real though this isn’t (only) a shitpost, it is (also) a genuine rant that this product is discontinued. ☠️

In VT at around the same time we had CAT and DOG for end credits. The Caption Apparatus Trolley used the cards with Letraset, Digitally Originated Graphics was electronic. Which got used depended on the production team.
