We are building up a variety of different greeting/holiday cards available in our museum store! In this video, Jared letterpress printed greeting cards with rhodamine red rubber base ink. This press run involved printing 40 cards using a 3x5 Kelsey Excelsior tabletop printing press. The front of the card was printed using a stock photo engraving that would be available in many letterpress printing offices and this cut was made 60-70 years ago. The image is of some Christmas greenery and 3 bells. The text “Bells will be ringing!” Is 30 point Engravers Old English font.
