i made vaults for my lil' end update mod thing i got that i might try to actually do something with someday and. i think i struck gold LOL
the 'ominous' variant is actually 'elytron' variants aka they'd be the way you get elytra now. also both reference enderman eye colors :)
A set of 3 End-themed vault textures, replacing the Trial Key head with an Enderman head, turning the Tuff into Purpur and using the concept's new 'Enderoak' wood (which is also implied to be the green material used on End Portal Frames) for the lights. Off has dark lights, On has bright lights that give the Enderman green eyes (like how it originally appeared), Ejecting emulates the way Endermen look when enraged. A set of 3 Elytra-themed vault textures. They look similar to the previous image, but now use Elytra colors for the parts that were previously Purpur, the Enderman head has an Elytra shape behind it, and the lights have been swapped to purple via using the concept's 'Foalt' woodtype colors.

Got myself a little treat yesterday, a 10-line wood type font. Can't wait to print with this super slabby face #woodtype #letterpress

Oooh interesting! I got to play with some Delittle woodtype from York during a letterpress workshop in the Robert Smail’s Printworks caseroom in Innerleithen (in the south of Scotland) a while ago.

It was really lovely to work with the texture of the woodgrain in the prints I made.

#Letterpress
Close-cropped photo of some wooden type used for traditional analogue letterpress printing. You can see the end of a large, retro-style curvy capital “A”, which has the words “Delittle, York” carved on them. Next to it is a smaller captital “A” letterform in a gothic typeface, viewed upside-down. Both letterforms are mirror-image, so that when printed, they are the correct way around.

The woodtype, yes, that’s all recently acquired. The big As aren’t part of a proper font of type but the rest are (kind of, anyway).

Printing up some of these for my classroom this semester, as I encourage my students to go fully analog and work with their hands and their brains. I might run some in blue tomorrow. 3 sizes of wood type, including a hand-carved replacement "I". #letterpress #analog #woodtype

Unlikely. The "Elektra' type mark isn't italic or nearly as bottom heavy as the "THE."

THE is a Victorian woodtype alphabet that got revived in the psychedelic era under different names. It looks like a rounded edge variation of Bulletin Script fontsinuse.com/typefaces/33...
