HMRC failed to collect £614.6bn of taxes since 2009-10.

Does not include taxes lost due to offshore excursions, profit shifting.

Govts claim they can't provide education, healthcare, housing, water, energy.

The oil and gas industry in Texas is the epitome of “privatize profits; socialise liabilities“

Assets put money in your pocket; liabilities take it out. Choose wisely.

He won't resign before Jan 3, 2028. That's when he'll qualify for a taxpayer supported federal pension.

Which, btw, may end up with unfunded liabilities due to all the early retirements among federal employees.
Thanks DOGE. 😡

abolish debt and the stock market

and make property/liabilities as a financial investment illegal

"Deliberate Deprivation of Assets" to avoid financial liabilities?

If you DON'T push Trump out now, here's what will happen: his degenerate cronies (or worse yet, his pathetic children) will become the heirs apparent. Then you'll have to deal with *them* futzing around for another decade - all the Trump liabilities but none of the celebrity.

Reading through this. Agencies avoided long-term "liabilities" of in-house staff, that is, they didn't want to lay people off when the project was done. So they (checks notes) made mistakes that had a cost overrun of $346,675,328.

Because Carney welcomes the privatization of essential public services. Elect a banker, get a banker - someone who views everything through the lens of a profit sheet and sees people solely as liabilities.

"Bill 11 directly and unequivocally breaks the Canada Health Act—that ensures that cleaners on Bay Street have the same access to health care as bankers working in the same building.

But so far the federal government is missing in action."

Liabilities, debt, & institutional costs are then assigned onto the colonized population.

Recognise the above scenario‽

but the reality is more mundane: those candidates pay a penalty, it's just often not enough, say 2-3 points in a r+12 state . . .

& trump had genuine strengths; for one, decades of intense media branding as a smart successful businessman—he brought assets as well as liabilities to the ticket

We should not privatise the jobs of the state. Doing so wastes money and exposes the state to unnecessary liabilities
November 4, 2026 at 12:34 PM
I think it’s great (in terms of what the outcome with be).

And it’s a good reminder to these candidates not to bend so much to these hardliners and to actually see them as liabilities as opposed to potential allies.
Extraordinarily hot take, but I think this is good news for Abdul. If your main pain in the ass does a Hulk Hogan-style performative heel turn two days before your election, it just proves all of your opponents don't believe in anything. But it does show they're afraid of the power of your movement.

The most powerful lesson, that cruelty, bigotry, & hatred don't win!

Imagine telling your kids that the country chose decency over division. That their names, their faith, & their differences are not liabilities.

Democracy gave parents a much better answer. Great morning to wake up to!!! 👏🧤🧣🍾🥂🇨🇦

They have to have liabilities on the other side of the balance sheet to offset these big lumps!
November 4, 2026 at 12:45 AM
Money will dry up as liabilities increase. Lawsuits will continue. Decisions will jump up the circuits providing much more general fact pattern cases to point to. But the richest who got to market first will have still made their money by that point so they don’t care.

And too dumb to understand the personal liabilities you’re exposing yourself to.

That $50,000 bonus ain’t gonna go far when your defense lawyer charges $700 an hour.

The pension industry had to put unfunded future pension liabilities on their balance sheets and ensure the financial security of people’s pensions.

Why is the water industry cut some slack? Put future critical infrastructure costs on the balance sheet and let them fail. Public ownership please
