Even worse, the guy who made the issue ticket intends to file a dmca against the repo itself if the mentioned compression library isn't removed within a week. I'm fearing for the worst for the future of the Libdragon library unless this get's quickly resolved...

Wasn't what ultimately, legally doomed that project the fact that it was using libultra?
With Valve not wanting to get into trouble with Nintendo over it.
But nowadays most projects use LibDragon.
So I wonder if he converted it, whether Valve would give their blessing.
They did seem pretty on board

This clip is from Ares, the n64 emulator, but I also test on Analogue3d. I have my original n64 but haven't tried it yet. Using libdragon and tiny3d, I think it's suppose to work on original hardware.

apparently the reason n64 emulators struggle with libdragon is because the way n64 emulators work with graphics is by parsing libultra (internal graphics SDK) calls and translating those to opengl/vulkan
but libdragon has a custom rendering API, and emulators just. don't account for it
