Whatever the defunct LoRaWAN Linxdot is doing it’s denoted by a steady green LED, 14 slow blinks of a red LED, then two red LEDs rapidly blinking 45 times.

This is why I can’t get laid.

Plugged in the LoRaWAN Linxdot and as I figured, it was defunct and it was going to stay that way. So much for contributing to the Internet of Things in some capacity.

OK, Linxdot, why ~should~ I assert my location?

Discussed all things AMD Radeon GPU & AMD with my computer guy and bought a cheapoid mouse that works. Got my computers Theseus 2 and Theseus 3 to play nice with Linxdot. Whether its doing any Helium mining is another matter.

Theseus 1 finished its previous BOINC SRBase tranche. Now to mess with hardware, see if I can get the Linxdot Helium miner in the bedroom with a view. Quite possibly being a Long Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN) shall be the only concrete benefit of my crypto phase.

Surprisingly my Linxdot has despite its less than optional placement in English Garden has been active & connected, earning thousandths of Helium on the daily. Long Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWan) has some use, and I like the blinking LEDs, hence I'm keeping it up.

And lo! is is mining. First LED is solid green, the second blinking red, the third steady red, and the fifth a flickering red. Which doesn't quite match up with the walk-through's figure's 7 and 8. We shall see what the night brings.

Yesterday, not having anything better to do, I connected my Linxdot miner, a LoRaWAN affair, not even expecting connectivity given the layout of English Garden.

It saturated my Internet connection. And I had to unplug the coax box. Yowza, long time, no see.
