Didn't have high hopes to see the Least Sandpiper,Calidris minutilla @ Steart Marshes yesterday, but once @sharkeee.bsky.social had spotted the 2 Little Stint,Calidris minuta,we managed to find the tiny Sandpiper quite close to them too.It kept hanging out with 1 of the Stint before they all flew off

My first #LittleStint (2) and #CurlewSandpiper of the autumn just east of the lifeboat station at Hoylake on the ebbing tide. Thanks for the heads up @wirralbirder.bsky.social #Wirralbirding #Ukbirding

Unfortunately the wash is drying out fast @RSPBLakenheath I was told a while ago that some water 💦 was going to be added, it’ll need to be soon at this rate. #littlestint

Another thoroughly enjoyable day #birding the 👌@RSPB_Ribble #Marshside & #HeskethOutMarsh. Migrant & breeding birds aplenty. Highlights being 5 #CurlewSandpiper, 2 #LittleStint, #WoodSandpiper, #Garganey & #Spoonbill (✅ found by a delighted eagle-eyed 8 year old @Aneeshwar_K!).

Stacks of birds on Banks Marsh this afternoon including single juvenile #LittleStint, #CurlewSandpiper and this lovely juvenile #AmericanGoldenPlover. Yet another find by the AGP magnet that is @DarbyBug!
