German premium #ebike manufacturer #Riese&Müller will exit the US market at the end of July 2026. So no more great Load60/75 #cargobikes for the Yanks.
RM will continue its operation in Canada though.

it is extremely not like riding a brompton wheel or something. putting aside that the load60 has both a front suspension fork and a rear suspension linkage, that front tire has three times as much air as nearly anyone was using in the mission 15 years ago.

Bike parking at the Gare Coravin. I do see that a small number of bikes (e-bikes?) have license plates. Also saw an R&M load60, first bucket bike I’ve noticed so far.

love this so much, I recently hauled an Aventon Sinch similarly in my Load60 but believe it or not, it's much easier when the bike folds in half.

Gotcha. I just chatted with the creator of Tow Monster, and he mentioned that the Load60/Load75 racks have pretty low weight limits (either 30 or 44 pounds), which makes Tow Monster a bit iffy on those racks. Do you know what your rack is stamped for max weight?

The glorious #Load60.
If you order things from @brightonphoto.bsky.social then some of the journey it makes from Brighton beach to your front door will be via cargo bike. All our post travels to the sorting office via bike, and local deliveries are done this way whenever I can. Bikes are great, ride more bikes.

Es erinnert mich an eine Situation am alten Steinweg, als ein älterer Herr meinte, ich hätte mein Load60 falsch geparkt. Er hat dann die ca 40kg Lastenrad umgesetzt. Das würde mit einem Fr8 nicht passieren :)

Zumindest beim Tern GSD gibt es ein zusammenhängendes Schutzblech am Hinterbau, das Load60 hat eine Unterbrechung.

Der DRECK von ein paar Wochen - es heißt auch Lastenrad, weil das hier kiloweise Dreck mit sich transportiert in den Schutzblech-Variationen, die sich #riesemueller so ausgedacht hat.
