Color postcard photograph showing an Eastern Air Lines Lockheed Constellation parked on the apron in front of the passenger terminal at Jacksonville Airport, Jacksonville, Florida. The aircraft occupies the left side of the image, viewed from the front-left side. Its polished aluminum fuselage reflects the bright sunlight, while the nose, cockpit windows, forward landing gear, and one of its large radial engines are clearly visible. The engine cowling bears the Eastern Air Lines emblem, featuring the airline's circular logo with a stylized bird. The aircraft has a dark blue and silver livery with thin red and gold accent stripes. The number “104” is visible on the landing-gear door, and part of the aircraft's registration or identification lettering is visible toward the rear of the fuselage, which extends beyond the left edge of the photograph. The vehicle appears to be positioned for ground servicing of the aircraft. Additional ground-service equipment and carts are visible around the terminal entrance and beneath the aircraft. The foreground consists of a broad, dark asphalt aircraft apron extending across the bottom of the image. The scene is brightly illuminated by sunlight beneath a vivid turquoise-blue sky with a few wispy white clouds. The postcard has the characteristic saturated colors and slightly soft printing associated with mid-20th-century color postcards, documenting the appearance of Jacksonville Airport during the era of large piston-engine airliners and Eastern Air Lines' Lockheed Constellations.
