Last night I sparred at least once with every weapon I own - rapier, rapier and dagger, sidesword, and longsword. I am still very much a novice at the latter two, and my Visby gauntlets fit poorly so I can't really grip my longsword properly. But they were free, so they'll do for now.

I actually trained in HEMA and other martial arts while at university. So a majority of my fight scenes play out like HEMA sparring matches. Enjoy this example of how quick that can be off the page.

Each order differs depending on how they're organised. In the order of Branwen, they travel a lot so it's expected that each knight teaches their squire on the road. While at home Sir Corbyn teaches them.

Duelist: makes use of maiming gear. Weapon is a longsword (can share glamours with PLD). Focuses on the martial prowess of swordplay. Main gimmick is “one hand vs two hand stance”
Default stance is one handed. Attacks apply stacks of “off-guard”. Switching to two hand stance consumes these stacks

#wolquestion For the fun of it, what are some job/weapon type ideas you have? Let's get creative!

Tomorrow I'm going to my very first longsword class, then tea, then a zine market. Expecting to sleep like angels sleep. (Constantly burning, lidless eyes rolling with constant divine visions.)

Tough choices for this orc. The superior weapon of the enemy?
Or the comfy blanket that reminds me of home?
Oh, for a peaceful world where nostalgia could prevail.
*Wipes away a tear as they regretfully leave the smelly blanket*
