I love seeing the massive #NoKings turnouts in major cities, but what I love even more are the hundreds and hundreds of small, rural towns that had relatively bigger turnouts compared to their populations 💙🙏

KS legislature has been hunting for trans/queer Kansans for years, and the orgs that showed up to organize against terrible laws were URGE, LoudLight & Planned Parenthood + other clinics doing GAC. They couldn't whip votes against the veto override but that means they need more resources, not fewer.
or, put another way, there are a lot of people who will panic-give to HRC and Planned Parenthood and the ACLU who have never heard of, say, you or me or many of the frontline Black and brown led trans-focused orgs that we are aware of.
