The #BritishNorthAmericaAct took effect on #ThisDayInHistory in 1867, creating the future country of #Canada. The Province of Canada split along the old #UpperCanada / #LowerCanada line into #Ontario & #Québec, and joined #NewBrunswick & #NovaScotia in the Canadian Confederation.

If #Canada removes ridiculous inter provincial trading barriers within #Canada, it will generate $250 bil in new annual revenue, a big step toward recovering $300 bil that we lose if we stop exporting to #USA / #LowerCanada all together
