Fixating on Trump’s alleged senility as a reason to explain his horrible behavior is also actively harmful. The reason he won in 2024 is because swing voters didn’t think he was capable of doing the horrible things he was promising to do. He’s very capable of doing those things unless we stop him.
America—including people much smarter than me—doesn't want to face that Trump is the exact same guy he's been since 2011, at least: just older, with more power, and a lot more failure.

Tripping out at all the very smart people longing for the sensible, lucid Donald Trump, who accused Barack Obama of faking his own birth.
People keep saying the H3 podcast functioned as "a friend group simulator for lonely people", but I don't understand why you'd pick an insanely boring zionist weirdo nightmare blunt rotation as your imaginary friends
It's like lucid dreaming but then choosing to spend the dream waiting at the DMV

There is this really interesting dynamic where when people move from liberal/Dem --> conservative/GOP, they honestly feel like they are either (1) mentally unstable/damaged (Fetterman, Stevens) and being taken advantage of OR (2) MASSSSSIVELY grifting. They never sound more lucid/smarter.
