What I mean is, if Lurrus is your commander, your deck's color identity is black and white. If you are playing Arahbo, you can have Lurrus in your deck because it can be cast for only white pips. In the command zone it's a *limiter* but in the 99 it's *not.* it's inconsistent.

Isn't this just a function of inclusive "or"? I'm not understanding what you think operates differently here - you aren't forced to use a black pip in your Lurrus commander deck.

worse: as proposed, the design change would *not* let you put lurrus in your companion zone in an arahbo deck, but *would* let you put it in your 99. That's getting into some WEIRD inconsistency territory.

I love doing all that with Lurrus cuz it lets me mill way more aggressively to find my combo pieces and adds a little more protection cuz I can always get em back.
Love this deck so much, but I haven't been able to get the list in a place where I really feel comfy buying ths cards.
