- Mailspring: Looks pretty, no calendar integration
- Hexamail Flow: very good looking, but a lot of issues - Gmail was inconsistent between it and GMail web
- Mailtrim: After two days it hadn't loaded my GMail (~500 messages)
- Spark: Worth a look, I chose eM Client before I knew about it

Alright. Gonna try out:
- Airmail
- Mailspring
- Mimestream
- Thunderbird
Not sure about:
- Outlook (I've heard it's actually good but 🤔)
- Canary mail (seems too AI-focussed)
- Superhuman (just don't get the hype yet)
Already ruled out:
- Apple Mail
- Spark

I am ditching Thunderbird as an email client. It really sucks but hard to find decent alternatives.
Giving now a try to Mailspring www.getmailspring.com and 10 minutes in it's already a winner -- MUCH faster search, better interface, instantaneous import of my settings.
let's see if it sticks.

Current email client standing:
1️⃣ Mimestream: The UI is great—good native feel. Feels very solid/stable. Gmail-only though :/
2️⃣ Airmail: Has more features, but UI is not nearly as good.
3️⃣ Mailspring: Distant third. Feels outdated.
(Out of the running: Spark, Superhuman, Thunderbird, Apple Mail.)
