although you could probably trace a certain reading of it through maimonidies - like if you're trying to think why would g-d ask for the unaskable in human terms not g-d terms you're sorta missing the point

Learn some history instead of repeating propaganda. Look up who Albert Memmi was. Jews stayed in Iran until the crazies took over. In 1100, Maimonidies wrote "never has a people oppressed us as much as the Arabs".

And note, Maimonidies is quoting Isaiah, from a text that predates Europe.
